Philanthropy

I am always eager to give back and make the world a better place. Here are some of the ways I go about doing just that:

Little Free Library

I was one of the first people in my home town to put up a Little Free Library. Since then almost a dozen have sprung up and the initiative has been backed by the city who is working with the local Boy Scout troop to put a Little Free Library in every park. https://littlefreelibrary.org/

Operation Smile

I was born with cleft lip and palate, and was fortunate enough to get it repaired at an early age by an expert in the field. My life has been drastically altered because of this operation. This organization performs cleft lip and palate surgery all over the world at no cost to the recipient. The average operation costs $240. So far I have raised enough money to help pay for 3 smiles. http://www.operationsmile.org/

e-NABLE

This network of 3D printers and designers build prosthetic hands and arms for those with birth defects or injuries. Their main focus is for children in under served communities, and they give away their hands at little to no cost to the recipient. A donation of $50 purchases the necessary hardware for one hand to be assembled.  https://enablingthefuture.org/
