I am a computer geek that somehow had a bit of a knack for grammar, and I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Business and Computer Information Systems from Idaho State University.
I like to read. A lot! My Father, Austin, instilled in me a strong love of learning.
When I can get away from real life, I like calm water kayaking, camping, hiking or being outdoors in my yard (Landscaping, Gardening, hint, hint, wink, wink).
My wife, Sheila, and I live in the Intermountain West with as many of our kids and grandkids as we can keep close by.
Since 1986, I have either been helping my "authoring" children with their books or working on my own.

Since 1932, New Eyes for the Needy has provided clear vision to over 8 million people in the United States and throughout the world.
We purchase new prescription eyeglasses for U.S. residents in financial need and distribute used glasses to the disadvantaged in developing countries.
